On the lookout for winged pigs ...

Our local Costco is selling gas for $1.46 per gallon (here's where you can find the lowest gas price in your area). I truly NEVER expected to see gas for less than $2.00 per gallon again, so I am now keeping a close eye out for flying pigs. 'Cause you know those will be coming next.

And, just to get you in the holiday mood, one of my favorite You Tube videos ever:

A lovely dog who, sadly, passed away in a house fire. At least his owners will always have this joyous video to remember him with.

That dog video was hilarious, and just what I needed. I think the trick will be to carry that kind of enthusiasm around with me, no matter how deep the snow I am in.

Thank you so much for stopping by Irish Gumbo! I appreciate your kind comment. Nice to hear your hubby found something much better; I believe the same will happen for me. Thanks again!

Our Kroger has it at $1.479 right now (well, if you have the shopper card and spend enough money there, which, HA! OF COURSE I DO.) and I swear I keep meaning to take my camera with me so I can take a picture of it because I cannot believe it. It's like a dream.
(Sadly, I'm cynical enough to think that it's probably coming to an abrupt end right about January 20th.)

I've seen that video before... can't remember the last time I enjoyed snow even half that much!

Gas was down to 1.51 here, and is currently back up to 1.69. Hoping it will start the downward creep again.

I have seen that video before and I loved it!!!

I think the cheapest I've seen gas lately was 1.59 in Bancroft, MI
(which is really weird because little villiages usually have more expensive gas than cities. It's been 1.67 in Lansing.)

By the way, thanks for dropping by my site.

My friend just sent me that video. One of those "makes ya smile" things.

I've seen this video on a couple of different sites in the past week. No one else has shared the information that the dog perished in a house fire. I was sorry to learn that. Sad. Just awful.

[The price of gas in Saudi is about .80 a litre. It cost me 40 riyals - about $10.00 to fill our Tahoe this week.]
